XForms is a platform independent markup language for data capture and validation. It improves upon HTML forms by separating presentation and content. XForms adds features such as strong typing, validation, reduced server trips, reduced need for scripting, and an XML representation of form instance data. It provides an XML friendly manner of data capture.
